Freeads.co.uk, the UK's largest independent classified website, today announces a new partnership with The Car Shop Megastore, the UK's leading car supermarket group.

The tie-up means users of Freeads.co.uk now have access to 2000 vehicles supplied by The Car Shop each day on top of more than 18,000 motors for sale which are already live on the site.

This is the first time that Freeads.co.uk has taken a live feed of ads from a third-party supplier.

Freeads.co.uk chief executive Duncan Horton said the business is hoping to roll this strategy out to other categories such as careers and property, so that Freeads.co.uk is aligned with one specialist partner for each sector of its site.

Freeads.co.uk is backed by Clive Jacobs, founder of car hire giant Holiday Autos, who bought a major stake in the business in early 2007. Horton joined Freeads.co.uk at the beginning of the year, he was formerly marketing director at lastminute.com.
