Sales of both the Spice Girls' and Dannii Minogue comeback singles have failed to impress record company bosses leaving the ladies red-faced.

Ironically, X-Factor judge Dannii appears to be struggling with the competition from the new breed of reality TV pop stars, such as Leona Lewis.

Big wigs at Radio One are apparently far from impressed with the offerings with George Ergatoudis, the station's head of music, saying of the Spice Girls' single: "The song simply isn't strong enough... It would have been a B-side in their heyday."

Ouch.

But there is hope out there in the shape of Freeads.co.uk, the UK's largest independent classifieds site.

"We've got thousands of CDs and DVDs for sale on our site, so you can snap up copies of the girls in their prime for a bargain rather than shelling out full price for hte new, seemingly not as good, material," said chief executive Duncan Horton.
